Glenn lived his entire life showing us all the power of those words.
From prestigious Pratt Institute ('68) to accolades at Madison Avenue's renowned Ogilvy & Mather, to his own agency, Glenn W. Hoffman's creativity and talent seemed to have no limits.
From painting, drawing, sketching, etching, sculpting, and art directing everything he touched, to pursuing his passion, photography, Glenn lived to create and to produce CHANGE for the better.
His fierce independence and intolerance for limitations led him to create his own successful agency, GW Hoffman Marketing, in Darien CT, bringing awarding-winning business results to some of the biggest brands nationwide, for over 35 years.
Glenn’s Bold Creative Style
It was in CHALLENGING CONVENTION that he inspired and taught others.
For sure, he’ll be forever known not just for his talent, but for his ability to respectfully challenge “the rules” for consistently better results. You simply did NOT tell Glenn that something “Can’t be done” or worse, “We don’t do it that way.” At least not without ultimately seeing just how wrong that assumption was!
People loved working alongside him as both his clients and as his business partners, seeing his brilliance shine and learning from it. Some of us are still learning from him.
He gave so much to so many throughout his life — careers, camaraderie, and fun — and taught us all with such humor, humility and style… Let’s just say, Glenn was not someone easily replaced or forgotten.
He was undeniably one of a kind.
