βWhatever excites you, whatever calls to you, whatever fills you with a desire to make, that is the place to begin. Art will meet you there."

Introducing our 2026 Glenn W. Hoffman Innovation & Creativity Scholarship recipient!
Selected from a super talented group of up & coming creative applicants representing myriad media and styles, Kestrel stood out to all of the judges. Her unique personal story relative to her drive to βcreateβ, as well as not only her talent, but the breadth of mediums she works in, allowed her to rise above the crowd. It was especially in this breadth that she most reminded me of Glenn himself!
Congratulations, Kestrel! You make Glenn proud. βI did not always love to learn. Instead, I loved to make. I would draw, knit and paint when I should have been doing other work. It was in high school I discovered that I loved school β because it could be ART... Through this lens, I saw the shapes in math and the beauty in language. I learned that making things could be my passion...β β Kestrel Duke
Kestrel will be attending SUNY New Paltz in the fall, pursuing a degree in Visual Arts... and her dreams!
