But by the moments that take our breath away."
-Maya Angelou

So, who was Glenn W. Hoffman?
My husband, Glenn, was a lifelong creative spirit who inspired positive CHANGE throughout his life by tapping into human emotion and challenging convention with his talent, authenticity, and humility.
Throughout his life, Glenn’s creative gift was in his ability to CREATE CHANGE – both emotional and behavioral. Especially though his lens. But his lens was in more than just his camera — it was in the entire way he approached creativity... and LIVING. Seeing anything thru Glenn’s lens made it mean even more, because it was not only visually beautiful, but seemed to tell a story of a moment that invited you in...
From prestigious Pratt Institute ('68) to accolades at Madison Avenue's renowned Ogilvy & Mather, to his own marketing agency, Glenn brought positive CHANGE to whatever he touched.
By tapping into pure human emotions, his professional ad campaigns, plus personal paintings, drawings, and especially photography, created emotional and behavioral CHANGE — in people, places and organizations! His fierce independence and intolerance for limitations led him to create his own successful company, GW Hoffman Marketing, bringing awarding-winning business results to some of the biggest brands nationwide for over 35 years, through intelligent, emotionally evocative, rule-breaking creativity!

Glenn’s creative mastery extended beyond cameras and paint brushes – he also helped design and decorate some of the most stunning homes you could imagine! No matter the style, his hallmark qualities were beauty, warmth and storytelling.
Especially on the walls.
It was there that his love for the authentic, but often over-overlooked moments in life, was best showcased in his beautifully evocative photos and artwork. Not tucked away in an album, they graced walls and tabletops in real life.
I believe they still should. I believe they should be where they can continue to bring emotion, beauty and JOY.
